Why a fertility detox and prep plan BEFORE conceiving?
After 2 healthy pregnancies, I've done a LOT of research, because even as a dietitian, I feel there was things I just wasn't aware of! Pregnancy and nursing days are the MOST NUTRIENT EXPENSIVE seasons of your life, you'll never come out of them with more nutrients than you had going in. Did you know the egg we get pregnant with is HIGHLY sensitive to our nutrient status the 3-8 months before as it matures? And unfortunately there are a LOT of toxins we're exposed to everyday. Research is showing over 200 toxins in baby's cord blood before they've even lived in this world - meaning they are being affected by what we're exposed to. Suboptimal nutrient status and toxin/liver overwhelm can lead to more severe nausea in pregnancy, pregnancy complications, or a harder postpartum recovery.
All to say, this is why I'll be doing my own pre-TTC detox and nutrient loading plan! What I'll focus 60 days on:

Detox Naturally
For 30 days I'll be doing diet and lifestyle steps + a few supplements to clear excess toxins before pregnant, and support liver for less severe nausea in pregnancy

Nutrient Loading
For the next 30 days and beyond until pregnancy, I'll be nutrient loading via diet and targeted supplements, for optimal nutrients before, during and after pregnancy.
